Zhou Ruxin is now the director and president of Beijing BDSTAR Navigation Co Ltd, as well as managing director of BDSTAR Hong Kong.

Zhou Ruxin, a Beijing native is the president of Beijing's BDSTAR Navigation Co Ltd.

Zhou was born in March of 1963 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Nankai University and an MBA from Peking University.

Zhou is director of the Chinese Technical Application Association for Global Positioning, member of the International Navigation Association, director of the Beijing Zhongguancun High and New Tech Enterprises Association, and director of the Charity Association of Haidian District, Beijing.

He once worked at the Military Operation Research and Analysis Institute at the Academy of Military Science. He also worked for the general office of the State Commission of Science and Technology for the National Defense Industry and then served as general manager of Beijing's Jinghuida New Technology Corp.

After that, he held the following posts successively:

Managing director and general manager of Beidou Navigation from September 2000 to January 2004;

President of Beidou Navigation from January 2004 to April 2006;

Director and president of Beijing BDSTAR Navigation Co Ltd since April of 2006.

He is now the director and president of Beijing BDSTAR Navigation Co Ltd, as well as managing director of BDSTAR Hong Kong.
