The company was founded in 2009, to specialize in R&D, production and sales of crystalline silicon solar cells and is committed to green, renewable energy for thousands of households and sustainable power for a better future for humans.

Beyondsun includes the Zhejiang Beyondsun PV Co, Zhejiang Trunsun Solar Co, Trunsun Solar Europe GmbH (Germany), Trunsun Investment Holdings EOOD (Bulgaria), Beyondsun International Ltd (Hong Kong), and global logistics centers in Almere, the Netherlands and Vama, Bulgaria.

As of March 2013, it had an annual production capacity of 250MW of products and a planned capacity of 500MW.

Trunsun Solar, established in 2008, concentrates on R&D, production and the sale of crystalline silicon solar modules and investing and operating power plants. As of March 2013, its annual production capacity was 250MW and its goal, 500MW.
