A tourism promotion meeting of Liu'an city, Anhui province, themed "Beautiful Mountains and Waters, Leisure Times in Liu'an" was held on May 19 at Yuda Palace Hotel of Zhengzhou city, Henan province. Leaders from related departments and representatives from tourism businesses, tourist clubs, travel agencies and media outlets attended the meeting.

A "red song" (revolutionary song) chorus kicked off the meeting. Zhang Xiaowu, deputy mayor of Liu’an, made a brief introduction of the city's tourism resources and expressed the will to further its communication and cooperation with Zhengzhou city. Then, after an overall recommendation by the Liu'an tourism bureau, Jinzhai county introduced the county from three aspects.

To enhance its cooperation with travel agencies in Zhengzhou city, the Jinzhai tourism directing committee announced a free 10-day group trip policy to 4A and above spots in Jinzhai county from June 9 to June 18, which interested travel agencies at the scene.

A number of special local products such as Dabie Mountain camellia seed oil and Jintai liquor were also specifically introduced during the meeting. The meeting is expected to be a significant boost to the joint development of the two cities' cultural tourism.
