Anhui Civil Aviation Airport Group has announced that Taiwan's China Airlines will launch an air route between Taipei and Hefei in Anhui province this July, Hefei Daily reported.

The air route is scheduled for every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, bringing China Airlines as the the 3rd Taiwanese airline to fly into Hefei Xinqiao International Airport, following Far Eastern Air Transport and TransAsia Airways.

Currently, China Eastern Airlines, Far Eastern Air Transport and TransAsia Airways run nine direct services from Hefei to Taiwan on a weekly basis, arriving at Taoyuan, Taipei, and Kaohsiung, Songshan of Taipei. With the newly joined China Airlines, tourists will have more choice for their future travels.
