A so-called travel passport for Bozhou city, Anhui province is currently in print and is expected to be released in March. If you spend 100 yuan ($16.3) for the passport, you can visit ten tourist attractions in the city without limit.
The passport is a policy jointly introduced by the Bozhou Cultural Tourism Bureau and Bozhou Cultural Tourism Company. It incorporates ten scenic spots, including the Flower Theater, the troop road of Cao Cao, and the Weiwu Shrine. The tickets to all these areas normally amount to 325 yuan ($ 52.9), but after the passport is unveiled, it will only cost 100 yuan for anyone to visit them for an unlimited amount of times within a year.
The passport will be the size of a pocket book. It includes the holder's personal information and photo, and cannot be lent to anyone else. While citizens need to purchase the passport with their ID card, college students and people working in Bozhou can buy it with their student cards or work unit certificates.
In addition, the passport includes information about over 50 associated businesses such as hotels, hair salons, cinemas and KTV; and passport holders can enjoy different discounts when going to these businesses.
