On December 28, the Feixi New Year's Shopping Tourism Festival and “Beautiful Feixi” photography competition awards ceremony kicked off in the Lvxizhou ecological demonstration area, Huagang town, Feixi county, Anhui province. Tang Xianxin, director of the Feixi county tourism bureau, and other officials gave presentations at the opening ceremony.

During the opening ceremony, Ni Xinghua, deputy director of the county tourism bureau, announced the winners of the "Beautiful Feixi" photography competition. This time, the competition had a total of 64 awards. Over 60 photographers attended the awards ceremony.

The New Year's Shopping Festival is sponsored by the Feixi tourism bureau. The festival will last from December 28, 2013, until February 1, 2014. Unlike previous years, guests can visit the Feixi hen farm and catch birds. Likewise, tourists can pick organic vegetables and fresh fruit (strawberry is highly recommended). The host also provided Feixi "family blessing" New Year gift packs for sightseers.
