The 9th China Huangshan International Mountain-Climbing Competition kicked off at the South Gate of Huangshan scenic spot in the city of Huangshan, Anhui province on November 18.
The event is a part of the four-day 17th China Huangshan International Tourism Festival. It attracted over 3,000 mountain-climbing enthusiasts from 12 provinces in China and 56 countries, including Russia, the United States, Germany, Australia, South Korea and India.
The route of the competition is South Gate - White Goose Ridge - Cloud Valley Temple - North Sea Square. It measures 12 kilometers in total.
