Eastern Airlines will launch a new connecting air route between Taiyuan-Hefei-Sanya starting November 9, Xin'an Evening News reported.

Operated in a Boeing 737, the flight number for the air route is MU2039/40. It runs on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday every week.

The departure time from Taiyuan, capital of North China's Shanxi province, is 10:55am. It arrives in Hefei, capital of East China's Anhui province, at 12:30pm. At 1:20pm, it leaves Hefei and heads to Sanya, South China's Hainan province, arriving at 4:20pm.

The return flight departs at 5:15pm from Sanya and arrives at 7:55pm in Hefei. It departs at 8:45pm from Hefei and arrives in Tayuan at 10:20pm.

As expected, the air route inauguration will provide more options and convenience for tourists in the provinces of Shanxi, Anhui and Hainan.
