Mother's love never ages

They say a mother holds her children's hand for a while, their hearts forever. But 96-year-old Zhang has spent most of her golden years doing much more. For the past 20 years she has nursed her paralyzed son Xu Quanyi, 59, at their home in Bozhou city, East China's Anhui province. He developed mental problems in the 1970s and has been paralyzed since 1992 and lost the ability to speak due to an unreported condition. Zhang even turned down a 100,000-yuan ($15,700) donation offer from a businessman in Shanghai and lives on a total of 340-yuan ($53) subsidy every month. [Photo/Asianewsphoto]
