On September 12, a meeting was held by the vice mayor of Huangshan city, Anhui province, the manager of a Japanese tourism association, and the vice director of a Chinese international travel company. At this meeting, a decision was made by these three men to jointly launch tourism charter flights to Japan in 2011.
A cooperation memorandum was signed during the meeting, specifying the responsibilities of the three parties.
According to this memo, the city will mainly provide tourism information to the two travel agencies; the Japanese tourism association is responsible for preparations operated in Japan, and the other two parties are in charge of communicating with domestic airplane companies and price negotiation.
The official contract will be signed in November this year.
