Guangdong to promote new energy at Astana Expo
Guangdong province will hold a promotion week at the China Pavilion of the 2017 Astana Expo from Aug 18 to 20, highlighting the southern Chinese province's latest achievements in new energy and technology.
The Guangdong committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) will take the world expo as an opportunity to promote its economic and cultural strength.
Different activities will be organized over the three-day promotional event, including a forum on energy development, a performance and exhibition of intangible cultural heritages, a photograph exhibition and several economic activities to attract investment.
It is expected that Guangdong Week will further expand the province's international influence by introducing its favorable environment for investment, long-boasting cultural heritages and rich tourism resources. The theme of this year's expo held in Astana, Kazakhstan, from June 10 to Sept 10 is "Future Energy". The China Pavilion will fully demonstrate the country's energy developments and thoughts on the future of energy.
