The mobile phone President Bush's twin daughter, Barbara, lost in Buenos Aires - was reportedly up for grabs on an internet auction site.

The phone was put up for sale on website Mercado Libre -the Argentinian equivalent of eBay - with a starting price of about 160 pounds, reports Terra.cl.

"Barbara Bush's mobile, an amazing possibility," Ananova quoted the advert on the website, as claiming.

"It has George Bush's private number plus Michael Jackson's, Madonna's, Paris Hilton and Ozzy Osbourne's," it added.

But, it was quickly removed from the website, as it featured numbers for the White House, Pentagon, FBI, CIA, and the IMF in its phone book.

Barbara Bush's purse was snatched at a Buenos Aires restaurant during a night on the town in November - when the twin sisters had stayed on, celebrating their birthday over the Thanksgiving weekend and producing even more tabloid fodders about their alleged activities.

The headlines dominating TV and newspaper coverage in Argentina at that time included the theft of her phone and her credit cards, as well as reports of the twins running naked in the hallway of the hotel, an allegation the hotel staff denied.
