On October 22, 2010, the awards ceremony for the Spanish Prince of Asturias Prize was held in Oviedo, the famous historical and cultural city in the north of Spain. The archaeological project of Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shihuang won the Social Science Award. This is the first time that Chinese archaeological projects won this international award.
