Feasting, Brazilian style

Celebrity chef Elie Schramm, executive chef for the FIFA World Cup last year who will return to Rio for the Olympics next year, will be in Beijing for a Brazilian food festival hosted by the Renaissance Beijing Hotel. A themed dinner buffet (338 yuan plus 15 percent service charge) as well as set menus (338 and 558 yuan) will be served each night from June 25 through July 5. Also on the schedule: A cooking class (June 30) and samba night (July 4).

Artisan sausage-maker Andy Horowitz kicks off a triple-header of street food events at Beijing's super-chic Parkview Green. Andy's Craft Sausage is operating a food truck this week through July 17, followed by Fanier Burger and Qmex in a promotion ending Aug 31. Daily 8:30 am to 10 pm.
