Avocados were a big hit among the Mexican consulate's WeChat followers, consul general Alberto Limas reports. After a local importer donated a batch of the seasonal goodies for a lucky-draw giveaway, he said, "we got more than 300 replies and 3,000 views!" Eight winners got a sack of fresh avocados from Mexico to take home.
