At a time when humans have been expanding their land, more wild species are losing theirs, and especially so for a few endangered species of migratory birds which are having to deal with increasingly disappearing wetlands that provide them with rest stops and hatching grounds.
Fortunately, the situation has been improving as many ecological protection efforts have been carried out in recent years.
