Good life after breast cancer
About 500 patients recently gathered at the China-Japan Friendship Hospital to share their experiences of how they cope with breast cancer and live happily.
It was the hospital's biannual event of its breast cancer patients' support group Pink Ribbon Club. Since Wan Donggui, a breast cancer specialist with the hospital, initiated the support group in 2008, thousands of people have joined the club, to help each other and to raise the public's awareness of the disease.
This year's theme was how to live happily despite cancer.
