Art shows in Beijing

Chen Ke solo show

Chen Ke, a female artist from Sichuan, is holding an autographical exhibition in Beijing.

On show are more than 70 of her ink paintings, as well as more than 50 installations, old photos, and manuscripts she has accumulated over the past 30 years.

Calligraphy show

Ma Yumin, a woman calligrapher from Henan province, is presenting a solo exhibition at Wan Fung Art Gallery in eastern Beijing. On show are more 30 of her works.

Retrospective show for ink master

The Museum of the Beijing Fine Art Academy and Jiangsu Fine Art Academy are holding a retrospective of the work of ink master painter Zhou Huaimin (1907-1996).

On display are more than 80 of his ink works created in the latter half of the twentieth century. As well as some of his sketches, manuscripts, and photos.

Landscape paintings

Jiang Guorong is holding a solo show at the Space Station Gallery in Beijing. On view are a series of poetic landscapes Jiang has created since 2009.
