Hong Kong

Water works

Eugene Kohn is best known as the chairman of Kohn Pederson Fox (KPF), the New York City-based architecture group responsible for the planet's tallest skyscrapers, including ICC in Hong Kong and Shanghai World Financial Center. The 83-year-old architect heads one of the largest firms in the world, yet Kohn still gets simple pleasure from picking up a brush to create watercolors that capture landscapes and skylines from his travels. Inspired by his mother Hannah, a renowned painter in her own right, Kohn has been painting since he ws a child. This is the first time his collection of work is on display in Hong Kong, with proceeds going towards charitable auctions.
