SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK, TANZANIA, JAN. 28, 2011

Finally, at age 53, I fulfilled a life- long dream, to take a safari. We were fortunate to see something that not everyone sees: lions in a tree on the Serengeti at sunset. We were as close as the picture looks, maybe 10 feet away. Breathtaking- ly beautiful.
