Taiwan has a lot to offer tourists and it is very well-known for its hot spring spas, especially those in Taichung, a city with rich hot spring resources.

Taichung, literally meaning "Central Taiwan", is located in west-central Taiwan. The city faces the ocean to the west and is surrounded by high-rise mountain ranges in the north. Its favorable geographic location has meant the city is home to the three most reputable hot springs. The first of these is the Kukuan Hot Spring.
