'Aftershock', the Winner at Harbin Film Festival

"Aftershock" ("Tangshan Da Dizhen") produced by Huayi Brothers Media Corp. was the biggest winner at the 23rd Harbin Film Festival, Sina.com reports.
A film awards event was held on January 16, the last day of the film festival.
"Aftershock" was declared the No. 1 box office film of 2010 on the mainland. Director Feng Xiaogang and playwright Su Xiaowei won awards for director of the top-grossing film and playwright of the top-grossing film, respectively.

Chinese directors, actors and producers, including John Woo, Manfred Wong, Stanley Kwan, Lau Wai Keung, Zhang Jingchu, Wang Lee-Hom, Zhou Dongyu and Dou Xiao, attended the ceremony.
Dou Xiao and Zhou Dongyu, leading actors from Zhang Yimou's art house film "Under the Hawthorn Tree" ("Shanzhashu Zhilian"), won awards for new actor and new actress. Zhou said she was in touch with Stanley Kwan about a possible role in his upcoming film "His Kingdom" ("Ta De Guo").
