Susan Boyle has revealed that she wants Ralph Butler's 'Nellie The Elephant' to be played at her funeral.

Speaking to Radio Times, the 49-year-old singer insisted that "you've got to leave them laughing".

"It would have to be 'Nellie The Elephant'. She packed her trunk and said goodbye to the circus," she explained. "Funerals don't have to be sad - Peter Sellers made me smile with 'In The Mood' - so I could do it with 'Nellie The Elephant'."

Asked who she would choose to play her in a film biopic, she replied: "Maybe Elaine C Smith [who plays Mary Nesbitt in Rab C. Nesbitt]. She's a very talented actress on Scottish television."
