5 targeted in graft fight
Five senior officials have been targeted as the country's anti-corruption campaign continues.
Su Rong, former vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, has been expelled from the Party and removed from all government positions, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection announced on Monday.
Su is accused of taking bribes for government positions. The commission said the case has been handed to judicial authorities and Su is also likely to face charges of bribery and abuse of power.
The commission said he "abused his power and caused great losses to state assets and is responsible for severe corruption in Jiangxi province".
