NFL legend Rice coming to China

NFL China will welcome San Francisco 49ers legend and NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice to China for a visit from Nov 14-23 that will take him to NFL Home Field sites in Beijing and Shanghai. He will interact with fans during meet-and-greet sessions, lead on-field clinics and be the guest of honor at University Bowl VI in Shanghai on Nov 22-23.

"I'm really excited and honored to be hosted by NFL China. I'm looking forward to being able to tell people about American football and pass that knowledge on. The thing about me is that I'm a very positive guy and I bring a lot of energy. So I'm looking forward to this trip and it's going to be a lot of fun," said Rice.

Rice will begin his tour at NFL Home Field in Beijing on Nov 16 to watch the city championships of NFL China's University Flag Football League. He will join the winner the following weekend in Shanghai at University Bowl VI, where the league's national champion will be crowned.
