Brazilian eyes

To celebrate the tenth anniversary of Confucius Institute and the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relationship between China and Brazil, the Confucius Institutes in Sao Paulo launched a series of activities. The CI at Fundacao Armando Alvares Penteado, a leading private university in Sao Paulo, held a photograph exhibition named "China in My Eyes" with 20 photos by two photographers who spent 17 days in China. "I think through these pictures, we can see the viewpoint of Brazilians and the parts of our country they find most interesting," said Chen Xi, the Chinese general consular in Sao Paulo at the opening. Meanwhile, the CI in the Sao Paulo State University also held a day-long celebration on Sept 27 at the Praca da Se, the central point of Sao Paulo that included traditional Chinese arts and dancing.
