Mylab brings its healthcare solutions to China
As a market leader in clinical laboratory information technology in Finland, Mylab has gained a solid reputation built on 25 years of experience. Mylab is today exploring developments in the global healthcare sector and is actively expanding in the Chinese market.
With long-term customer relationships already established, Mylab cooperates closely with customers in clinical chemistry, hematology, microbiology, pathology, genetics, blood centers, device connectivity, automatic verification and quality control.
Mylab Managing Director Esa Soini has developed healthcare information systems for the US Department of Defense and has extensive experience working with the Helsinki University Hospital laboratory information systems.
"Mylab is a reliable and competent systems integration partner ensuring smooth information flow between systems in the healthcare sector," said Soini.
"Our browser-based interfaces are designed in partnership with laboratory professionals to ensure information is clear and easily accessible. Our total service solutions include: information services, consultancy, customer support and systems integration. We are also supporting customers through the implementation of cloud services and smartphone applications."
Mylab entered the Chinese market in 2010 and established cooperation with prominent hospitals in China.
"We intend to share Mylab's rich experience and localize innovative technologies in China," said Eddie Ma, managing director of Mylab China. "We focus on delivering quality laboratory technology services to hospitals in order to improve healthcare services in China.
"Accessibility to enhanced, faster and cheaper healthcare is in demand in China, and Mylab is eager to contribute as China continues to implement new healthcare initiatives."
The next phase for Mylab China is to partner with hospitals outside of the major cities. There is an urgent need in China for specialized laboratory solutions, such as microbiology.
Regional challenges also need to be met to enable hospitals to expand their laboratory services. With expertise and technologies, Mylab will play an important role in the development of the country's healthcare information technology industry.
"We are committed to China and to meeting the growing demand for world-class healthcare information services," says Soini.
"We are ready to grow alongside our existing customers, actively seeking new partners and remain dedicated to the development of the medical sector in China."
