GUIYANG - The labor union of Southwest China’s Guizhou province will launch a range of activities in encouraging workers’ passions and inspiring innovations in the next six months, an official said on Wednesday.
Yao Yafei, the vice-president of the provincial labor union, said in a press conference that the activities - including at least three skill competitions among workers - will gradually unfold starting from the end of this month.
“We have carried out measures, such as hiring a panel of authoritative experts for judges, in guaranteeing transparency and impartiality for the competitions,” she said, adding the winners will also be rewarded.
According to the labor union, the series of activities will continue throughout this year.
