About 150 people were buried or trapped in a landslide caused by rainfall at a village in Anshun, Southwest China's Guizhou province, Xinhua reported on Monday.

The accident happened at around 2:30 pm after continuous heavy rainfall and left 150 people from 50 families stranded or buried.

It is not clear how many people are injured. Local rescuers are rushing to the site.
