BEIJING - China will provide fair treatment to all firms -- both foreign-funded and domestic -- in developing its green economy, a senior Ministry of Commerce (MOC) official reiterated Monday.
The Chinese government will continue to stick to the mutually beneficial opening-up policy and ensure fair competition for foreign-funded firms' investments in China, said Jiang Yaoping, vice minister of the MOC.
"All firms will be treated equally and fairly," he said.
Jiang made the remarks at a press conference concerning the International High-tech Exhibition of Green Industries and Green Economy, which will be held in Beijing from Wednesday.
The four-day event has attracted 127 participants, 85 of which are foreign-funded firms.
