Gome Electrical Appliances Holding Ltd appointed Executive Vice President Wang Junzhou as the company's president, following the resignation of Chen Xiao, according to a statement to the Hong Kong stock exchange today.

Chen will remain as the chairman and executive director of the company, Gome said in the statement.
