土耳其全国性抗议游行
在土耳其最大城市伊斯坦布尔、首都安卡拉、爱琴海沿岸城市伊兹密尔、地中海城市安塔利亚等11个城市，数千名抗议者走上街头并高呼反政府口号。警方对抗议者使用了催泪瓦斯、橡皮子弹和高压水枪，抗议者则用鞭炮和石块还击，有的人还在街道设置路障。
尼日利亚一中学遭血洗
当地时间2014年2月25日，尼日利亚安全部队宣布，疑为该国伊斯兰极端组织“博科圣地”的武装分子当日袭击了约贝州的一所学校，开枪并挥刀杀死了正在宿舍中睡觉的43人。受袭的联邦政府学院位于约贝州的布尼亚迪镇，在该校就读的学生从11岁到18岁不等。
乌女示威者与警察相爱
据英国《每日邮报》2月24日报道，乌克兰基辅的抗议活动中不仅仅只有鲜血、政治，也有浪漫的爱情。24岁的莉迪亚·帕尼基夫是一名抗议者，对抗防暴警察，她本来以为要被逮捕，没想到她居然收到一名警察发来的信息：“我想娶你。”原来这位警察有感于她的勇敢，竟然爱上了她！
探访亚马逊原始部落
