During the colonial era, many members of the famed British Gurkha Brigade stood guard over Hong Kong, protecting the city from intruders. The regiment has long since departed, but many of its veterans have settled here, drawn by their love of the land. Still, many find themselves strangers, though they have lived here for many years. Ming Yeung reports.
