Yahya Al-Zaid, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to China

Yahya Abdul-Kareem Al-ZAID was

appointed in April 2008 as theAmbassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Peoples Republic of China.

From December, 2006 to February, 2008, he served as Advisor to H.E the Ministerof Petroleum and Mineral Resources.

From 1993 to 2006, he worked forSaudi Aramco, the state-owned national oil company of Saudi Arabia. He used to be Vice President of Sales and Marketing(Now known as Marketing & Supply Planning). Earlier he worked for Saudi Arabian Marketing & Refining Co. (SAMAREC) as Senior Vice President. He used to work at Yanbu Petromin Refinery, General Petroleum & Mineral Organization (PETROMIN).

He graduated as a major of Chemical Engineering from University of Colorado in 1971 and attended an M.S. Project Management at Arthur D. Little Institute in 1976 and an Executive Program, University of California at Berkeley in 1994.
