Place to be for old favorites

Quanjude Peking Roast Duck Restaurant's Qianmen branch, the oldest of the group, will delight customers with its classic foods for the Spring Festival.

Fourteen nationally recognized Chinese cooking masters have prepared the restaurant's award-winning dishes, such as open-oven roast duck, salted poached duck liver, quick-fried roast duck heart, dry-braised four delicacies, "dragon-beard" cake with milk cream, and sweet red jujube and walnut paste.

The restaurant has three set meals ideal for groups, that include the above-mentioned dishes. There will be special gifts for guests ordering banquets.

A small-scale "temple fair" at the restaurant displays popular folk crafts, such as papercuttings and dough figurines.

Daily 11 am-1:30 pm, 4:30-8 pm. Qianmen Pedestrian Street, 32 Qianmen Dajie, Chongwen district. 6511-2418
