New luxury discount outlet in Changping
Beijing Hualian Group, a major retail enterprise, recently opened Badaling Outlets, a new luxury discount venue, in Changping district in Beijing. The brands offered include Gucci, Prada, Bottega Veneta, Bvlgari, Celine, Ermenegildo Zegna, Fendi, Givenchy, Marc Jacob and Valentino. Meanwhile, Bonpoint and Stella McCartney opened their first China outlet stores.
Exhibition tells story of Roger Vivier
French luxury brand Roger Vivier is holding a retrospective exhibition of its signature shoes and handbags made since 1963, to mark the opening of its China flagship store in Beijing Yintai Center. The exhibition is divided into 12 chapters, revisiting classic designs like the Sphere heel, the Stiletto heel, the Choc heel and the Virgule heel. It also tells stories of its famous clients like Jacqueline Kennedy, Grace Kelly, Queen Elizabeth II and Catherine Deneuve. The exhibition at Beijing SKP will run through Nov 15.

H&M unveils new designer collection
H&M's latest designer collaboration collection with Balmain was unveiled at Pace Gallery in Beijing on Nov 3. The event opened with a music video featuring model Kendal Jenner and Olivier Rousteing, the designer of Balmain. Chinese singer Lu Han and Finnish singer-songwriter Ronya Gullichsen performed on stage. The show was followed by a pre-sale session. The collection has been available in China stores since Nov 5.
