New fitness tracker has chic appeal

Chinese tech giant Xiaomi's wearable fitness tracker Mi Band has been quite popular among Chinese since being launched into market in 2014. Now the company offers fitness enthusiasts a new wearable device with a fashionable design.
Last week, Huami — Xiaomi's exclusive fitness wearable-device partner and the company that creates the successful Mi Band, unveiled in Beijing its second wearable fitness tracker, the Amazfit, under the slogan of "move beautifully".
The new wearable device is donut-shaped, available in black and white, respectively named Equator and Moon Frost. Small as it is, the device can be worn as a bracelet, earing or pendant, and has famous actress Gao Yuanyuan as its image ambassador, targeting the fashion-conscious crowd.
Apart from standard features, such as tracking exercise and sleep, and vibrating alert notifications from connected phones, the device supports wireless charging and includes a 15mAh battery which can last up to 10 days.
The device's main module is waterproof, and it is also resistant to extreme heat.
