She has come back to Beijing to look for new opportunities.
"The biggest challenge is the size of China, and the market is complicated. Every city is so different. Beijing and Shanghai are so different. And there are not many distribution channels. We cannot develop in this country by ourselves, so we need to find a proper partner who can share the brand and who wants to develop the brand in China."
She has also visited some Chinese artists and has chosen one sculptor to work with next season, "because we really respect Chinese culture and history, and we want to have something very special with Chinese artists".
"Our designers also ask to come here. They think there is future and opportunity. Everybody wants to understand China."
The company is also looking for a Chinese spokesperson. She says it does not matter if the person is a model or good-looking-what is more important is character and talent.
Kuprianova also visited the National Gems & Jewelry Technology Administrative Center, where she plans to run a national contest for young jewelry designers. The winner will spend one month in the Carrera y Carrera workshop in Spain.
