The 'Applause' hitmaker, who is close friends with the Italian fashion house's chief designer Donatella Versace, will front Versace's spring/summer 2014 campaign, the brand has confirmed on Twitter.
The 27-year-old pop star's pictorial was shot by renowned photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.
Versace tweeted: "#Versace proudly confirms @LadyGaga as the face of SS14 campaign shot by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott #VersaceLovesGaga (sic)"
The designer label also shared the first photo from Gaga's campaign, which features the singer adorned in a figure-hugging lilac bodycon dress with cut-outs and ornate silver jewellery.
Gaga celebrated her fashion campaign, tweeting: "I'm so happy to be working w/ @Versace for the new Campaign! What do you wanna wear this Spring? #Donatella #famiglia (sic)"
It seems Gaga was inspired by Donatella, 58, as she is seen sporting lengthy peroxide blonde locks in the campaign - much like the fashion designer's signature look.
Gaga's collaboration with Versace comes after the star penned an ode to Donatella for her recently released album, 'ARTPOP'.
The track, titled 'Donatella', sees Gaga sing: "What do you wanna wear this spring? What do you think is the new thing? What do you wanna wear this season? Donatella."
