Drew fronts new fashion line

Hollywood star Drew Barrymore is the face of a new UK high street fashion line.

The Love and Lyrics actress will front the new Gold Collection for clothes shop New Look and will feature on posters modelling signature pieces from the range.

British designer of the year, Giles Deacon has created the look for the chain that will see animal prints and accessories hitting its high street stores.

The top designer said Drew was the ideal choice to launch his creations because she is "gorgeous and intelligent".

The new styles also feature a short dress called the Shakira - no prizes for guessing which Latin bombshell inspired that particular design.

Stefan Lindemann from Grazia was certainly impressed: "I have to say the dresses are amazingly designed."
