Beckham to have a close shaze
Although he has recently been dropped by the England side, David Beckham has shown that his golden touch continues in the media.
He has just been retained by Gillette, with who he has a three-year, £40 million contract, to star in adverts for its latest product, a six-blade razor.
The Real Madrid star will feature in billboard ads for the battery-powered version of the razor from today.
The Fusion has five blades facing in one direction, while a sixth points the opposite way.
Gillette - who spent 10 years developing the blades - say it will make it easier to shave hard-to-reach places, such as under the nose.
A spokesman denied having six blades was a gimmick. He said the five blades "distribute the shaving force across the blades for extraordinary comfort".
He added: "We don't think Beckham being dropped from the England squad will affect sales whatsoever."
