Workers scatter grain on the grassland for birds at the Caohai Nature Reserve in Weining county, Guizhou province, Dec 23, 2013. Local authorities purchased 50 tons of grain for birds at the reserve, which is the largest wintering place for the black-necked crane and is now inhabited by 224 different bird species.
