Migrant people museum to open in SW China

Temporary residence permits used by migrant people on display in China’s migrant people museum, which will be opened on Oct 13 in southwestern Sichuan province. With a floor area of more than 2,400 square meters, the museum contains six pavilions. On show are certificates, working tools used by migrant people and pictures and texts about their lifestyle. The opening of the museum is part of the 2011 Conference on Migrant People’s Work jointly held by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Sichuan Provincial Government. [Photo/CFP]
