BEIJING - Poland's Agnieszka Radwanska saw off Italian Flavia Pennetta 6-2, 6-4 to reach the final of 2011 China Open on Saturday.

Pennetta was at the peak of her power after staging a surprising turnaround to world number one Caroline Wozniacki in the quarterfinal on Friday. But Radwanska has won two of the last three meetings between the players.
Although Radwanska lost her serve in the first game of the first set, the Polish girl quickly showed her strength in the second and forth to break, with the score up to 3-1. Then the world No12 was in full possession of the following games to win the first set 6-2.
Radwanska gained a total of five breaks in the whole match, which guaranteed she can still take an advantage of Pennetta in the second set. With the Italian's return ball flying out-of-bounds, the playing time has framed in 1 hour 23 minute.
Talking about the key factor to win, Radwanska stressed the word "focus" in the news conference.
"You just have to play 100 percent, to be focused from the first point until the end, and trying to play aggressive and just fighting for each point," she said.
"I just knew that she's playing well in last couple of weeks, so I was really focusing on my game from the beginning."
The victory over Pennetta is the 10th win in a row for Radwanska, which keeps the 12th-ranked alive in the race to earn a place in the season-ending WTA Championships in Istanbul late next month.
"I think I need some break after those two weeks, so I'll take some time off and practice at home and go Moscow, and hopefully I can go to Istanbul," said Radwanska.
