A ride on the 'magic carpet'

Clever designers have used mirrors to create a real-life magic carpet ride.
Whether "riders" choose to "fly" in the romantic deserts of Arabia or from the comfort of their own living room the Allawan magic carpet appears to float gracefully in mid-air.
The magic-carpet is the brainchild of the imaginative designers, Justyna Szmczak and Kamil Laszuk, both students at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, Poland. Far from being interested in late night partying like most students, the entrepreneurial pair set up the Juka Design Team in 2009.
"Allawan is an example of innovative multi-functional furniture," explained Kamil. "Which means you can use it as a sit for few people, lounger, footstool or a table.
