 Journalists take photos of tombstones covered in black cloth in Yiliang county of Southwest China's Yunnan province, July 22, 2010. Local residents said the village governance ordered them to cover their families' tombstones with black cloth or paint them green or black so the mountains could have a more unified color. A staffer at the sub-district offices of a village said "higher-level officials" ordered them to urge the villagers to do this, but the county government denied they had given such instructions.
