Dragon-patterned kiln of Ming Dynasty in E China

Photo taken on July 1, 2010 shows a kiln hole, which is used to add firewood, to check burning process and to clear furnace ash, at Dingshu Town of Yixing City, east China's Jiangsu Province. The ancient kiln, with a full length of about 48.6 meters, was built in Ming Dynasty. It burns some 7,000 porcelain embryo monthly at present, with firewood consumption of about 6 tons.[Xinhua]
