Crescent moon below planet Venus observed in China
 
Photo taken on May 16, 2010 shows a crescent moon and planet Venus in sky in Mudanjiang, a city in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province. The astronomical phenomenon could be observed in some parts of China as Moon appeared in alignment between the Earth and Venus. [Xinhua]
