Drew Barrymore says Justin Long fills her with "giggly joy."
The 'Going the Distance' actress - who refuses to confirm reports she has reunited with her on/off boyfriend - says Justin is one of the most important people in her life.
She said in an interview with Harper's Bazaar magazine: "He's the cat's pyjamas. I couldn't love, respect, admire and enjoy that individual more than I do. It would be physically impossible for me to have any more giggly joy at this person."
Despite her confusing relationship with Justin, the 35-year-old actress loves spending time on her own and often has to talk herself into spending time with her friends.
She explained: "I'm really good on my own. I was good in my early teens, and then I got really bad at being alone for like 10 years. And then for the last decade I've developed such a love of my independence that I have to go, 'OK, you've had dinner by yourself three nights in a row, now you have to see your friends.' "
Drew also believes since reaching her 30s she looks better than ever and thinks it is because she overcame so many personal problems when she was younger.
She said: "I feel like some of my baby fat is going away and that's not just physically, it's psychologically. I think that your body is in tune with your mind and your spirituality and your heart. If things are going better, I just think you look better."
After shooting to fame as a child following her roles in 'E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial' and 'Irreconcilable Differences', Drew started taking cannabis and cocaine by the age of 13 and attempted suicide by 14.
