The actress told US chat show host Jimmy Kimmel that she had implemented a "no sex" policy while the San Antonio Spurs are in the NBA Play-Offs in America.

"Luckily we're getting married after the play-offs and then we need to consummate the marriage," Longoria revealed. "I scheduled it that way."

She added: "We picked that date because it's the only weekend we're both off."
